Senior Creative Producer


We are looking to hire an in-house Senior Creative Producer to work across editorial video content, including filming at tournaments, and co-branded videos for our commercial partners.

The chosen candidate will work closely with the Head of Production to ensure the delivery of high quality content for an esports audience, the content will set us apart from our competitors and elevate our brand.

The successful candidate will have the following knowledge:


- Have a basic knowledge of esports and/or video games

- Have great organisational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at the same time

- Be capable of working within and leading a team

- Have strong negotiation skills

– Be flexible and able to adapt quickly to the demands of challenging and unusual projects

- Understand the demands of animated promos

- Scope out and determine the feasibility of producing final creative work in a variety of formats with quick turnaround times

- Source quotes and estimates for production work

- Ensure the correct licensing of artistic material across all formats and locations within agreed timings

- Maintain quality standards across the production of all creative work

- Plan and manage timing schedules that fit the needs of the tournament brief and budget

– Report progress of all work and any anticipated deviation from planned timings and costs to senior management week to week

– The successful candidate must be willing to travel internationally fairly regularly for shoots

Social Media Lead


We’re looking for a passionate, hard-working and ambitious self-starter who isn’t afraid to experiment with the unknown to help foster a community of fans, and deliver a world class social media strategy.


As a Social Media Lead, you will foster a community of vocal advocates and Counter Strike fans, you will create the comprehensive strategy of communication and engagement with BLAST teams, players and prospects on social networks like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube. You will be responsible for increasing the fan base, building the brand and fostering a positive, progressive climate online.


We’re looking for someone who can not only use social media right (gifs, memes, clickbait and all) but to tell a coherent, cross-platform story that all people want to read.


You are:


- A Marketing Expert: you've used social media as a marketing tool, whether managing a brand or fostering community collaboration

- A Social Media advocate: you've had experience posting on all sorts of social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Discord; you're drawn to the unique two-way conversations social media encourages and are passionate about engaging with a robust community

- A Player Engager: you're a gamer and identify with the audience, that's why you're great at hooking player attention and keeping them enthused

- A Thoughtful Problem Solver: whether out in the community or in a meeting room, you enjoy the challenges of complex real world player pain points and use your marketing skills and social media knowledge in identifying the most elegant if not witty solution to solve them


You will:


- Working with the Head of Audience and Social Media Execs, build comprehensive social media strategy across multi-social media networks

- Execute creative social campaigns across a variety of social media platforms

- Work closely with BLAST product team, commercial and BLAST comms to drive integrated communication

- Track and measure social engagement data to continuously optimize the overall social media strategy and gauge the health of social programs

- Execute paid media strategies and targeting requirements across social media

- Run the social media room at all BLAST Pro Series tournaments in 2019 (x8 weeks of travel)


Main responsibilities:


- Shape the daily, weekly, tournament specific and seasonal process of content creation, running meetings, calendars, processes and brainstorms, overseeing content creation and data

- Solid grasp of creating a clear editorial tone for voice for the brand

- Strong editorial judgement and an understanding for stories that gain traction


Requirements:


- A minimum of 3 years direct experience developing content and managing social properties in an esports or entertainment environment

- Demonstrable experience with social media platforms including, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, Discord

- Experience using social media management and project management tools when required

- Demonstrable experience with writing, editing and creating content for social media

– Skilled in photoshop/imovie preferable but not necessary
