Director of Execution and Production, BLAST Pro Series

(Senior Managerial position now open. Unique job possibility)


For our Copenhagen office, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project and Production candidate to head the global roll out of all production aspects of the esport tournament BLAST Pro Series As our Director of Execution and Production you will manage and oversee the production of our events around the world as well as manage our two production teams.


Headline tasks:


  • Responsible for overall planning of technical and venue production across the involved technical departments and across all BLAST events globally!
  • Close collaboration and leading of technical specialists in the BLAST organisation
  • Negotiating and coordinating with local co-producers around the world
  • Ensure processes are installed in order to scale output
  • Tender processes - sourcing of and negotiating with technical suppliers etc. for each event
  • Management of our two production teams - Technical Production Manager, Facility & Venue Manager and suppliers
  • Overall responsible for executing every event
  • Responsible for production budgets
  • Responsible for needed, accurate and timely information and communication for all involved in the project – internally, Local Co producer (LCP), suppliers etc.
  • Collecting and sharing valuable knowledge for optimizing future events
  • Troubleshooting

Qualifications:


  • Very experienced and knowledgeable in production of large event productions
  • Strong ability to plan, process and optimize the execution of a series of events
  • Experience from sports events, TV shows, international touring or alike
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Expert in written and oral communication in English (required), and possibly Danish
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong international network
  • Calm and collected

Facility & Venue Manager, BLAST Pro Series


BLAST Pro Series are looking for a Facility & Venue Manager for our esports tournament. As the Facility & Venue Manager you will be in charge of handling catering, ground transportation & accommodation, venue facilities etc. in collaboration with our Local Co-producer (LCP). You will become a part of our fast growing team that will be executing up to nine exciting and extraordinary BLAST events a year - globally.


Your main responsibilities will be:


  • Project managing accommodation, ground transportation, catering – handing over to the LCP for execution
  • Supervising and monitoring the LCPs running of various facilities – Accreditations Desks, catering areas, Press & VIP lounges, Mix Zone/signing sessions, dressing room areas, venue dressing etc.
  • Supervising the LCP on recruitment of hosts/hostesses, volunteers, etc.
  • Run collaboration with the LCP
  • Validate catering, transportation & accommodation standards
  • Validate event staff recruitment
  • Supervise the LCP in sourcing suppliers
  • Make run downs for above areas
  • Coordinate with other key managers in the BLAST organisation
  • Budgeting
  • Ensure "BLAST quality" in the running of all of above

Qualifications:


  • Highly experienced with hospitality management and running of large scale events
  • International work experience
  • Experienced with project management tools
  • Fluent written and oral English (required), and possibly Danish

Technical Production Manager, BLAST Pro Series


BLAST Pro Series are looking for a very experienced Technical Production Manager for our esports tournament. As the Technical Production Manager you will assist the Director of Execution and Production in producing our global esports tournament. You will become a part of our fast growing production team that has the task to execute up to nine exciting and extraordinary BLAST events a year - globally.


Your main responsibilities will be:


  • Project manage the production around the BLAST event – the arena show, the broadcast from early pre-production through load out (S & L, stage, connectivity, broadcast, FXs, power, machinery, manpower, frequencies, authorities etc.)
  • Finding and validating local suppliers and manpower (camera techs, extra connectivity techs, spot ops etc.) together with Local Co-producers (LCP) within given budget. Specialists from standing office will help validate any new suppliers.
  • Coordinate all production matters with LCP/local production manager and local suppliers and specialists from the BLAST organisation
  • Create production plans together with LCP and monitor everything goes to plan
  • Onsite execution of the event production
  • Production troubleshooting
  • Quality control
  • Go-to-person for main suppliers and key personnel
  • Support Director of Blast Pro Execution and Production in technical matters and decisions
  • Budget controlling
  • Secure the workflow between the BLAST team and our LCP

Qualifications:


  • Very experienced production person with comprehensive technical knowledge from large scale international events - possibly touring, sporting events, TV shows etc.
  • Good international network within the production and events industry
  • Familiar with project management tools
  • Fluent in written and oral communication in English (required), and possibly Danish
